Steven Polmans
Air Cargo Expert
Steven Polmans is a distinguished professional in the aviation industry, with a wealth of experience in airport management and logistics. His impactful career includes roles at Aviapartner, Brussels Airport, Nallian, and Abu Dhabi Airports, where he excelled in enhancing cargo logistics and operational efficiency. Polmans co-founded Air Cargo Belgium and Pharma.Aero, promoting collaboration and innovation in the air cargo sector. As Chair of the Board of TIACA for the last five years, he continues to drive transformative initiatives, shaping the future of air cargo logistics.
Freek De Witte
Air Cargo Expert
Freek brings over 15 years of experience in the aviation and air freight logistics sector. Early in his career, he co-founded SCALE, the predecessor of Air Cargo Belgium, and secured government funding for BRUcargo activities. He later worked at the SESAR Deployment Manager, facilitating cooperation between airports and airlines to modernize European air traffic management. As Public Affairs Director at DHL Aviation Brussels Hub, Freek focused on political support for night operations and enhancing sustainability. Currently, he leads Air Cargo Belgium, drawing on two decades of expertise in public affairs, stakeholder relations, and logistics management.
